“Julie (@tat2juju) took on the task of finishing a big portion of my leg. We knocked out a two day session to complete the back of my thigh, two large pieces on the side of my thigh, and lots of filler work. The lunar moth on the back of my knee is an award winning piece, we won a tattoo expo in Albuquerque with that bad boy. The guillotine? Light work for her. I've sat through some TOUGH spots and I prepared myself to need a few breaks with these.. I didn't need a break with Julie. She is incredibly light handed, I don't find myself being uncomfortable while under the needle (this includes by being tattooed and just in general in her presence.) I'm pretty fair weather, I can either talk the entire time or I could stay quiet in my own world.. While being tattooed I ended up taking several naps because I was so at ease in her company. I felt safe and secure, knowing she's taking care of me to the fullest extent. I will be traveling to her so we can finish my leg, she has made a lifelong client out of me. I can't express my deep appreciation for how wonderful she is as both an artist and as a human. Her hourly charge is PENNIES if you consider the talent and artwork you get to display for the rest of your life. Cannot recommend enough, I can't wait to be back in her chair soon. Every single tattoo I've received from Julie has healed BEAUTIFULLY. it's rare that you get a tattoo that heals to be more vibrant as it settles.. Portland is lucky to have such incredible talent in such a small lil lady. She's damn good at what she does and the tattoos I will get to display forever are a testament to her craft.
